If your child was in school but marked absent, this is usually due to attendance still being updated or a timing issue.
📱 What should I do?
When you receive an absence notification:
👉 Select Please Check
This lets the school know that your child is in school and that the attendance should be reviewed.
🔍 Why this can happen
- Attendance is still being updated by the school
- There may be a delay between roll call and notifications
- A class attendance record may not have been completed yet
👉 This is a normal part of the attendance process
⏱️ What happens next?
- The school will review the attendance
- They will update the record if needed
- You do not need to take any further action
⚠️ Important
- Do not select Absent if your child is in school
- Use Please Check so the school can correct the record
