If you didnโt receive a notification, itโs usually due to one of the reasons below.
๐ฑ 1. Notifications are turned off on your device
Your phone may not be allowing notifications from the app.
๐ Check your device settings:
- Make sure notifications are enabled for the app
- Ensure alerts, sounds, and banners are turned on
๐ 2. Notifications are muted or restricted
- Do Not Disturb or Focus mode may be enabled
- Your phone may be silencing notifications at certain times
๐ 3. No internet connection
Notifications require an internet connection.
- If your phone is offline, notifications may not come through immediately
- They may appear once your connection is restored
๐ 4. The school may not have sent an alert
In some cases, the school may choose to publish a message without sending a notification.
๐ This means:
- The message is available in the app
- But no alert is sent to your phone
๐ 5. The notification was dismissed or missed
- Notifications can disappear if dismissed
- You may not always see them if your phone is locked or busy
๐ All messages are still available in the app
๐ฅ 6. The message is in the app
Even if you didnโt receive a notification:
๐ You can always find messages inside the app
- Check News, Notifications, or Personal Notifications
- Check the Attention Please section for anything requiring action
โ ๏ธ Important
- Notifications are alerts only โ they are not the message itself
- You will not lose any information if you miss an alert
๐ก Tip
To avoid missing updates:
- Keep notifications enabled
- Check the app regularly
